~The Star Chronicles: The Dawning~
~Prologue~

It was a dark night. Everyone was sound asleep in peace. But in a distant abandond city a commotion could be heard. "Agh!" yelled the figure as he fell to the ground. Then a dark figure loomed over him. "It's over you can't win." said the dark figure with a smirk. "I'll never give up as long as everyones' fate rests on my shoulders!" The figure said as he got up from the ground and punched the dark figure in the face. The dark figure was sent flying by his massive strength and flew into an old building. The dark figure than jumped out of the building, "Not bad...." He than raised one hand into the air and a ball of dark energy began to form in the air. The other figure began to form energy in his hands as well. The two energy attacks then collided. The two attacks were evenly matched. "I.... Won't..... Give.. UP!!!" Shouted the figure as an aura of pure light went around him. "It's over!" The figure yelled now engulfed in light. He then flew through both energy attacks and absorbed them. He then flew at the dark figure punching him through his stomach. The dark figure than collapsed to the ground uttering a few last words that only the light figure could hear. The light figures glow left him as he collapsed to the ground. "Ugh..... Going through his attack took more out of me than I thought." The figure said to himself as he tried to get up but fell to the ground a few seconds later. He then just laying there staring up at the stars. "No we're to late!" Yelled the blue hedgehog as he ran over to the figure. "Xemnas must have slowed us down more then we thought." Said the man in the red hat as he finally caught up with the blue hedgehog. "Sonic...... Mario.... Come here. I need to tell you something..." The figure said weakly as the two of them stood next to him. "Please, I know this must sound odd but... Tell everyone that Kirby will be the new leader." said the figure quietly as he continued to look up at the stars. "No!! You're not going to die!" Said Sonic as he looked at his leader. "Sure, whatever you want. We wouldn't of wanted the job anyway." Mario said as he tried to lighten up the conversation. "There's something else that I need to tell you..." The figure said as he pointed to the dark figure. "Something that he told me." He then leaned over towards Sonic and Mario and whispered something to them that only they could hear. "Goodbye guys." The figure said as he closed his eyes and his body went limp. The two of them were speechless. After a long silence, Mario finally broke it by saying. "So. Now what are we going to do?" Mario said as he looked at Sonic. Sonic stood there staring at the ground for a few seconds longer and then replied. "We tell Kirby."

~Chapter 1~
~The Ceremony~

Brownie was walking through the castle. Nothing had ever looked so big to him in his life! This was the day that he would become a Trainee and finally be able to start his training to become a full fleged member of The Land of Stars. He felt extra excited because the person who was chosen to be his master was Sonic himself. He could hear the noise from outside. His oldest brother, Kirby was recently made leader and of The Land of Stars and he would offically be making him a member of The Land of Stars. Brownie kept walking through the seemingly endless halls until he finally reached a hallway with a door and Sonic next to it. "This is your big day!" Sonic said to Brownie as he finally reached the door and stood in front of Sonic. "Yeah, I'm really excited!" Brownie said as he peaked out the door. "That's the spirit! Now get ready, we'll be going out there any second now." Sonic said as he patted Brownie on the head and closed the door. After a couple of minutes they could hear Kirby call. "Mario! What do I do next?" Kirby whispered to Mario from the top of his stand. Mario just smiled and said. "Bring out Brownie." Kirby then stoped slouching and stood up straight again. "Thanks Mario!" Kirby said a little to loud for his own good. "Brownie! Come out here!" Brownie gulped as he heard his name called. "Don't worry. You'll do fine." Sonic said as he opened the door for Brownie. Brownie then walked out in front of Kirby as Sonic stood next to Mario. "Sonic, Mario.. What am I supposed to say?" Kirby whispered to Sonic and Mario. They both smiled as Sonic said. "You get to make up the new words for this since your Leader now." Kirby noded this time and looked back at Brownie. "Brownie. Will you fight and protect our land against all odds in even in the worst of conditions?" Kirby said jokingly which made Brownie laugh in front of everyone. "Yeah." Brownie said while he was still laughing. "Then I grant you to be Sonic's apprentice and to one day become a full member of The Land of Stars." Kirby said as he jumped down from his stand. "Dismissed!" Kirby screamed obnoxiously as he walked back into his castle. The crowd of people slowly broke up with a lot of people talking to one another. "Well, I guess I'll show you around town." Sonic said as he signaled for Brownie to follow him. They started to walk as Sonic pointed behind them. "Well as you already know that's the castle where the leader and second in command sleep, and this is where all the very important town announcements are." Sonic said as they continued through the town until they reached a big, fancy looking building. "That's the hospital. This is where all the wounded and sick members go. You should also know that this is run by Zelda and Peach." Sonic said as he and Brownie continued through the town. Eventually they stopped as Jet walked up to them. "Hey Sonic." Jet said with a neutral tone. "Hi Brownie. Congratulations on becoming a Trainee, although I'm sorry you have a master like Sonic instead of someone like me." Jet said tauntingly as he jumped on his board. "Well, See'ya!" Jet then dashed off at only a mild speed on his hover board. "Brownie, if you don't mind I have something to take care of!" Sonic said as he gave Brownie a quick wave and dashed off after Jet. "Uh, sure." Brownie said as he started to walk through the town again. He eventually reached his house. It's a very big house where all of Brownie's brothers live besides Kirby. He opened the door and walked into the living room where Blue was laying on the couch moaning and Purple was standing over him. "What happened to him?" Brownie asked as he stood next to Purple. "He ate way to much cake at your recognition party." Purple said as she put a wet cloth on his head. "But it was so good...." Blue said as he turned over making the cloth fall off of his head. "Brownie, you can go to sleep your going to need your rest before you start your training." Purple said as she put the cloth back on Blue's head. "I can take care of Blue." Purple said with a sigh as she sat down on a chair next to Blue. "Thanks Purple. I am pretty tired." Brownie said as he made his way up about 12 steps into a hallway. Brownie went all the way down and went into one of the two doors. He then jumped on his bed, pulled his covers over himself, and went to sleep.

~Brownie's First Day~

Brownie woke up. He could see the light shining through the window and hitting his bed. He got up and sloppily made his bed, and then slowly walked out of his room, down the hall, and down the stairs. When he reached the Kitchen he could see a plate of chocolate chip waffles on the table. He grabbed a couple of them and dashed out the door. He ran through the town for a while until he reached the very center of the town. He just finished his last waffle when he heard. "There you are." Purple said as she walked next to Brownie. "Mario and Sonic are waiting at the sparring arena for some basic combat training." Purple said as she started to walk towards the sparring arena. "Wait for me!" Brownie said excitedly as he bolted ahead of her. The two of them ran for a long time until they ran into Blue and Red. "Hey guys! What are you two doing today?" Purple said as she and Brownie stopped for Blue and Red to reach them. "Nothing really, we're just taking the day off to relax." Red as he looked around the town. "C'mon Red, we gotta motor!" Blue said as he ran off. "I'll see you two later." Red said as he ran after Blue. "We should be going too." Purple said as they walked for a while longer. Eventually they reached the sparring arena. "There you two are, we've been waiting forever." Mario said as the two Trainees approached the two 2nd in Commands. "Sorry about that... We got a little lost." Purple said as she walked next to Mario. "It's alright." Mario said as he looked over at Brownie and Sonic. "Well, no time to lose! So let's get started!" Sonic said as he looked over at Mario. "Hey Mario. Can Brownie and Purple have a little match?" Sonic asked as he looked at Brownie. "Sure. What do you two think?" Mario asked Brownie and Purple. "Sure!" Purple said as she took her position on one side of the sparring arena. "Yay my first fight!" Brownie said as he leeped to his side of the arena. "Alright Brownie, you can go first." Purple said as she readied herself for his attack. "Let's go!" Brownie said excitedly as he dashed at Purple. He tried to give her a straight up punch, but he was to slow, Purple was already ready to grab the punch, she then sent him spiraling upwards in the air. Brownie then thumped on the ground a few seconds later. "Wow.... Your... Strong....." Brownie said dizzily due to the fact that he was just sent spinning in the air. "Keep trying Brownie!" Sonic said supportively from the sidelines. Brownie shook himself to clear his head and ran at Purple again. This time Brownie tried to swipe her feet, but she was to fast for him, by the time he had swiped with his feet she was already in the air. She landed behind Brownie and turned the tables by swiping his feet. Brownie hit the gound with another thump. "Ugh...." Brownie moaned as he got back to his feet. "Alright! The match is over." Mario said as he and Sonic walked up to the two of them. "C'mon. I think you two should get some rest." Sonic said as the four of them walked out of the sparring arena. "So where do you guys wanna eat?" Sonic asked the three of them, but at that same moment they could hear an explosion from the other side of town. "What was that?"

~Chapter 3~
~Ganondorf's Attack~

"Woah!" White said as he was nearly knocked off his feet by the explosion. "What was that?" White asked as he gained his balance back. "I don't know, but it sounded close. We should check it out." Snake said as he motioned for White to follow him. They ran for only a short period of time due to the fact that they were running as fast they could. At a point White thought that he would collapse from exaustion until they finally reached the sound. When they got there they saw that Ganondorf was there. On the ground near him you could see Red on the ground motionless with his Oathkeeper Keyblade next to him. Blue wasn't knocked out, but it looked as though he was only keeping himself up by leaning on his Oblivion Keyblade. "Red! Blue!" White yelled as he dashed next to Red. "What are you doing here Ganondorf?" Snake asked as he stood next to Blue just in case he lost his energy and hit ground. "Nothing you should be worried about Snake." Ganondorf said as he looked at the two newcomers. "Alright White, this is going to be your first challenging fight that we can't lose. So let's take him together." Snake whispered to White as he readied himself for the fight. Just then Sora and Riku came running towards the scene. "Red, Blue!" Sora said as he dashed next to his apprentice. "Sora, Riku. You two fight with White against Ganondorf, I'll bring Red and Blue to the Hospital." Snake said as he picked up the two Kirby's, one in each arm. "Good Luck." Snake said as he dashed off. "Sora and Riku. This would actually be a decent fight, but I gotta run." Ganondorf said as he shot a wave of Darkness at each of them. One of them hit White and he was floating in the air unable to move. The second one went for Sora but he blocked it with his Keyblade and hit it to the ground. The third one went for Riku but he shot a blast of Darkness to neutralize it. "Your not getting away that easy." Riku said as he drew his Way To Dawn Keyblade. "Fine then. This should be fast!" Ganondorf said as he shot a wave of Darkness at them. The two of them both jumped it, Riku then shot a blast of Darkness at Ganondorf which he jumped to avoid, but Sora was ready for the finisher. He threw his Keyblade at Ganondorf from the air. It almost hit him but he barely dodged it right before he landed. When Ganondorf landed Riku was already behind him dashing at him. Riku tried slashing him, but Ganondorf merely ducked it and gave him a punch that sent Riku flying through the air. "Riku!" Sora yelled as he dashed at Ganondorf. He almost got a hit in with his Keyblade but Ganondorf merely sidestepped it and went for another punch. Sora was ready for this however. He ducked the punch and slamed into Ganondorf's stomach with his Keyblade. Ganondorf took a couple steps back due to the pain, but then he shot a blast of Darkness at Sora sending him to the ground. "Nice shot..." Ganondorf said as he gained his balance again. "Well, I'll be seeing 'ya" Ganondorf said to the two collapsed warriors. "No! We can't let him get away!" White said as he struggled to get free of the attack, but he still couldn't move. Ganondorf then teleported away and the three of them were left alone. "Darn it..." White said as the attack lost it's power and he landed back on the ground. Sora and Riku both got up. While White looked at them he noticed that they both had some pretty bad injuries that should be checked out. "I was surprised. Ganondorf never used to be that strong." Riku said as he grabbed his arm. "Yeah I know. Usually you and me would have been able to take him out." Sora said as he tried walking, but he had a limp which made it hard to move. After a minute or two one of the Ambulances from The Land of Stars stopped next to them. The door in the back opened and Zelda jumped out of the car. "Get in. You two look pretty beat up." Zelda said to the three of them. "What happened to Red and Blue? Sora asked as Riku got into the car. "Don't worry, Peach is looking after them right now." Zelda said as Sora jumped in the car as well. "What about you White? You don't look hurt. Do you want a ride home?" Zelda asked as she looked him over again just in case. "No thanks. I'd rather walk home." White said as he waved them off. "Alright then. You should get some rest." Zelda said as she hopped back in the car and drove off. White then started walking off. "I should have been able to fight with them instead of getting trapped." White mumbled to himself. He walked for a very long time until he reached the training arena. White then trained himself to his fullest until the sun went down and it was well past night. Afterwards White was panting from exaustion. He then hit the ground and closed his eyes. He fell sound asleep.

~A Friend In Need~

Purple was patroling around the large city. Kirby had ordered a couple of people to patrol ever since Ganondorf's attack and Purple was one of those people. She continued her route for a very long time until it was time for her to head back to the city. Right when she was about to head back she noticed that a person was entering the city. "Hey!" Purple said as she dashed in front of the stranger before he could enter the city. "What are you doing in The Land of Stars?" Purple asked the stranger as she caught her breath. "My name is Auron. I need to speak with your Leader it's urgent." Auron said very calmly as he ignored Purple completley and walked into the city. "Hey! You never really told me what's going on." Purple said as she blocked Auron's path once again. "And I said i need to talk to your Leader, not you." Auron said as he continued on through the city. "Fine, but I'm going with you." Purple said as she caught up with him once again and walked beside him. "If you must." The two of them continued on through the town for a very long time getting lots of curious and worried looks from the towns people. Eventually they reached the Castle where Kirby, Sonic, and Mario were talking. When Purple and Auron got close enough to them Mario said. "Why are you here?" Mario asked as the three of them stared at Purple and Auron. "The Land of Twilight is being overun by soldiers from The Land of Darkness." Auron said cooly as he went on. "Link sent me here to ask The Land of Stars for help. He dosn't think that we can win on our own. He says that The Land of Darkness seems stronger, but he dosn't know how." Auron said as he stared at Kirby. "Alright, if you really need our help." Kirby said to Auron and then looked at Sonic and Mario. "Can one of you two please handle this. I want to go check how the town is holding up." Kirby said as he walked away. "Alright Auron. It sounds like we're going to help you." Mario said to him as he put his hand to his chin and started to pace back and forth. "Alright, how about if Sonic, Zelda, Jet, and Purple go to The Land of Twilight." Mario said as he looked over at Sonic. "Sure! Sounds like a pretty good team!" Sonic said as he signaled for Auron and Purple to follow him. They made there way through the town until they were at the hospital. "Wait here." Sonic said as he walked inside the hospital. After a few minutes Sonic came out with Zelda right behind him. "Alright, now let's find Jet. I have a feeling I know where he is." Sonic said as the four of them continued walking through the town. Eventually they reached a giant store with Jet in front of it. "Hey Jet! Kirby wants you to come with us to help out The Land of Twilight." Sonic said as the four of them stopped in front of Jet. "Sure! Now we can see which one of us is a better fighter!" Jet said as he waited for Sonic to reply. "Sure!" Sonic said as he walked past him. "I need to make a quick stop though, C'mon!" Sonic said as the five of them walked inside of the building Jet was at. Inside there were lots of different materials and weapons all across the walls and Knuckles was inside sorting them out. "Hey Knuckles! I need to get that special armor now please." Sonic said as he walked next to Knuckles. "Sure thing. I was looking at it just a second ago." Knuckles said as he grabbed some armor from a shelf and gave it to Sonic. "Remember, this armor is very special. It will not slow you down or it will not make your moves slower. Also it gives a good deal of protection from attacks to! It is one of my fincest pieces of armor, it took me a very long time to make this." Knuckles said as Sonic put on the nice looking blue armor. "Thanks Knuckles! Alright, let's get going!" Sonic said as the five of them ran out the door. They ran through the town for a very long time until they finally left it. They kept on moving until they finally reached the border that lead to The Land of Twilight. They crossed it and soon enough they were at the large city of The Land of Twilight. Upon entering the city looked destroyed and was up in flames. Before they knew it they were surrounded by countless Heartless and in the front of them was Bowser. "Move!" Sonic yelled as he ran at the large group of Heartless. Purple surprised on how fast the fight started. She didn't even notice the Heartless that snuck up on her. Before it could hit her Auron slashed it. "Stay alert." Auron said calmly as he ran at more Heartless. Purple then looked around and the closest thing she could see was Bowser coming right for her. She quickly ran at him and hit him in the face with a punch. Then she kneed him in the gut knocking the wind out of him, and finally and surprisingly she was able to throw him up in the air and send him spiraling like a top. When Bowser landed he looked furious. He shot her with a giant wave of his Fire Breath. Right before it hit her Zelda jumped in front of her and made a shield to protect the two of them. Zelda then kicked Bowser in the gut with a magic filled kick which sent Bowser flying into a building. Then she finished him off by shooting a fire ball at him which made an explosion that sent Bowser flying. "Wow!" Purple said amazed. "It's alright. That just drained a lot of my power..." Zelda said as she sat down to gain her energy. Right when Bowser was defeated the Heartless instantly ran away from the group. "On how things look I think that they should be arriving at the castle by now." Auron said as he pointed his sword in the direction of their castle. "I gotta run ahead then! Good luck you guys!" Sonic said as he bolted out of sight in a flash.

~Clash of The Titans! Sonic VS. Ganondorf

Sonic was dashing through the town in a lightning fast blur of speed. I better hurry and find Link before it's to late! Sonic thought to himself as he looked around the town seeing all the burnt down buildings and enemies swarming around The Land of Twilight. Sonic then dashed off in such speed that it was impossible to see him. When Sonic reapeared he was in front of the towns Castle. In the clearing Sonic could see a knocked out Wario along with several Heartless, but in the center was Ganondorf standing over a near-defeated Link. "Stop!" Sonic screamed as he dashed behind Ganondorf in a flash and swiped his feet sending him to the ground. The Sonic used a Spin Dash to send Ganondorf flying into a building, and to top it off Sonic shot a blast of Wind at Ganondorf blasting him even harder into the building. "Link are you alright?" Sonic asked as he helped Link to his feet. "Not good... The town is nearly overun by The Land of Darkness. For some reason they easily defeated my people with little effort at all and have nearly destroyed the place..." Link said as he tried to walk but the pain made him fall back down to his knees. Just then Jet came riding in on his Extreme Gear. "What happened here?" Jet asked as he jumped off of his Extreme Gear and landed next to them. "No time to explain. Just get Link out of here, quick!" Sonic said as he helped Link onto Jet's Extreme Gear. "See 'ya around!" Jet said as he rode off with Link. Just then Ganondorf walked out of the building. "That was a cheap shot...." Ganondorf said as he grabbed his side. "Why are you here!" Sonic asked as he readied himself for an attack. "Like I'm actually going to tell you." Ganondorf said as he slowly disapeared in an aura of Darkness. Sonic looked around on all sides and he still couldn't find Ganondorf. Where is he... Sonic thought as he continued to search. Just then Ganondorf reappeared behind Sonic. Sonic turned around a second to late, Ganondorf was already grabbing him by the neck and lifting him off the ground. "You did good, but you just can't stand up to me." Ganondorf said as he continued to shoot wave after wave of Darkness at Sonic while still lifting him by his neck. Sonic struggled but he couldn't get free. Then after one last blast Sonic's armor broke and there was a small explosion sending Ganondorf to the ground and Sonic landed with a slight stumble. "Knuckles isn't going to be happy about this..." Sonic said to himself as he faced Ganondorf. Ganondorf tried punching Sonic in the face but Sonic was to fast for him, he had already ducked Ganondorf's blow and sent Ganondorf flying into the air with a kick to the jaw. While Ganondorf was in the air Sonic jumped after him and gave him several punches to the gut. Then Sonic kicked Ganondorf in the side sending him flying through the air. Sonic then landed smoothly and ran to the spot Ganondorf was going to land. Then before Ganondorf even started to drop Sonic started to run in circles so fast that he created a tornado and trapped Ganondorf in the tornado. Then while Ganondorf was trapped Sonic used a Spin Dash to spin into the tornado and hit Ganondorf. Sonic used the tornado's wind to bounce around Ganondorf like a pin-ball machine hitting him several times with increased strength due to the tornado's pull. Then Sonic went right behind Ganondorf and kicked him down hard with his leg, and finally while Ganondorf was in mid-fall Sonic shot a blast of wind sending Ganondorf flying even faster to the ground. A few seconds later Ganondorf landed with a loud crash creating a crater where he landed Sonic landed smoothly just out side the crater. "There, now tell me why your here." Sonic asked as he walked into the crater and next to Ganondorf. "You won this time but next time you won't be so lucky...." Ganondorf said as he started to fade away. "We'll see." Sonic said right before Ganondorf completly fanished. Afterwards, Sonic bolted out of the clearing and back into the burning town. While Sonic was running he was running fast enough to make good progress but slow enough to see if anyone needed his help. I guess they all ran off when Ganondorf was defeated. Sonic thought to himself as he vanished in a burst of speed. When Sonic reappeared he was in the out skirts of town where he saw Jet, Zelda, Purple, and Auron waiting for him. "You guys look in pretty bad shape." Sonic said as he walked next to them. "Sonic, are you okay?!" Purple asked as she walked right next to him. "What do you mean 'am I okay' Ganondorf barely hit me." Sonic said. Then Zelda walked up to him. "I think Purple is refearing to most of your body being covered in burns." Zelda said as she observed his marks. Sonic looked at his arms and saw that each arm had a few burns on them. How did that happen... Sonic thought as Zelda continued. "I think you should head to the hospital with me and Purple while Jet reports what happened to Kirby and Mario." Zelda said as Purple sat down. "Hey Sonic, what happened to your armor?" Jet asked Sonic as he tried to look for any trace of the armor. "Don't ask..." Sonic said as he rubbed his head. "Thank you for your help. The Land of Twilight is in your debt." Auron said calmly as he gave the four of them a nod of his head and walked back into the town. "C'mon guys, let's head home!"
