Mario smacked down on the Barrier again, dealing 85 damage. He noticed the Light Devil's form change realizing he must be planning something.

Bass slashed it with his Dark Arm Blade and fell back at the site of the the transformation.

Mega Man prepared for the Light Devil's attack. He knew that all devils would split into pieces and attack. Light Devil split into pieces and hit Mega Man with 5 of the pieces dealing 100 damage, along with the 10 others hitting Mario and Bass dealing 100 damage to each of them. He then grew back behind them.

Mario recovered from the attack fairly quickly and rushed at the reforming Light Devil with his Hammer dealing 85 damage. Mario then jumped back and looked at Mega Man and Bass. They were starting to get worn down from the fight.

The Light Devil examined Mario and saw that when he was teaming up with Mega Man, he was a bit stronger. Before he fired a laser out of his eye, Mega Man told Beat to fly Bass up into the air. Then the Light Devil dealt 70 damage to everyone on the field except for Bass who was in the air, K.O.ing Mega Man at the same time.

IC: Anger boiled up inside of him as he looked down at Mega Man. The rage burst at once as he fired a giant Mario Finale at the Light Devil dealing 200 damage, costing 210 SP, and knocking out their foe. After the fight, Mario walked over towards Mega Man. "Are you alright?" He asked kindly as he put out his hand for Mega Man to help him get up.
