| Good news: New people are joining, and this is good to keep the site alive.
Bad news: There are no mods, so they can't be approved. If they are not approved, they can't roleplay.
Any ideas? I'll be thinking about some...

| Honestly, I think we should have a temporary rule that goes along the lines of if admins and mods aren't on for a couple weeks or so, we should allow people to roleplay, and when a mod or admin comes on next we can message them saying the characters need approval. But we can't just sit around and wait for approvals from the mods, because we'll just lose people that way, and this site needs all the help it can get to be back up and running. | |

| I see no problem with the lack of mods. Seasoned RPers such as myself shouldn't need to be checked and made sure we're fine. Just read our topic if you don't believe us. I said, and I quote;
"...this is one of the few sites where we can role play as some of our favorite video game characters like Fiora and the like since message board RPing seems to be dying - which is a shame, by the way. We already said at the beginning of this topic that we were going to RP regardless because there is no harm in doing so since we don't NEED clearance or approval since we're currently doing one of the most active and well-written RPs this site has ever seen. I know, I've been browsing. Anywho, we are enjoying ourselves with our RP, and if there aren't any mods on, then who cares if we're approved or not? It's clear that we can handle ourselves and we're not doing anything unfair to each other or other members, and we're clearly seasoned RPers that know what the heck we're doing. So unless Sonic pops on and has an absolute problem with this - which I see no reason why he would - then we are going to continue RPing at our own leisure."
And I'm going to stick by that. Maybe some of the half-baked RPers such as 90% of the people on this site need clearance, but we don't. We know what we're doing, especially since we've 1) Run several message board RP sites of our own, and 2) Been roleplaying for years and years and years. And by "we", I of course mean Riven, Ziggs and I.

| That's alright and fair, and that's true about some of us being "halfbaked"(Including me). And you are very seasoned roleplayers, and we can all probably learn some things from you. But I think it would be nice just to get some closure from a mod or admin. Maybe their presence on the site coild bring in some old and new roleplayers with varying skill. Oh, and if nobody has said it yet, welcome to the site. | |

| The only thing I'm concerned about with this site, honestly, is someone we don't know who posts one-liners trying to get into our RP. We've already decided to ignore all posts like that, regardless of who it is. Lack of mods? Heck, we can handle that ourselves if we really have to. | |

| Okay then. Feel free to enjoy yourself on the site. Though also, if you really want more experienced roleplayers on the site, you could make seperate threads and see if you can't give a few pointers to some of us. I mean, we can't really get better unless someone is willing to help give us experience. But you're not here to teach, so feel free to ignore this if you want. | |

| I agree with the idea of letting other people roleplay without a approval(until mods are back). I also agree about what you said about the one-liners. They are super annoying and not fun to roleplay with at all. Anyway, I think we could handle this site pretty well until mods return. I just wonder when they will return. It could be half a year(which is what happened last time)! | |

| Well, this Fiora person sure is modest. It's a dead site. Of course your roleplaying abilities would be better than that of 2008-2009. We all were noobs back then. (Especially me. >n< The approval system makes sure the person understands all the rules of roleplaying and such the site has to offer. But I do agree that until someone with decent authority gets on, we should have a trusted member of sorts Approve. MEh, it doesn't matter for me. I just came by to visit. | |

Can't tell if typo or hint... XD But since you're the most experienced member here who is willing to do this, unless Fawful or anyone else has any objections I think you could act as a temporary mod to accept profiles. I just think that when a mod or admin comes back on, you should keep track of the temporary approved profiles and message them. Other then that, I think that would work as a good system.

| *to Don't mock my grammatical mistakes. ; ^ ;
Erm, don't choose me. I have no intentions of roleplaying on this site. I just wanted to see if we really gave up on it or not. c;

| Well, I'm going to have to agree with you Fawful. If Bass still doesn't want to, then you would probably be a more experienced person to take care of these things. So, why don't you take care of being a temporary mod then, unless anyone else has a different opinion? | |

| Ok, I can be a temporary mod for a while. However, I will wait about 2 more days(today, the 28th, and then the 29th) to see if anyone has a different opinion, or if Bass changes his mind. If nobody objects, then I guess I'm a temporary mod until the regular mods are back. | |
