What does it do: It allows Mario to whack his enemies with his Hammer and hit objects with it.

History: Mario's Hammer is a weapon used in the Mario RPG games. It's first apperance was in Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars where Mario used this as his basic weapon to attack his enemies and as a holdable object. The Hammer was brought back in the Paper Mario series' of games. In these games Mario went on paper adventures to rescue Princess Peach. The Hammer is used as Mario standard attack besides the Jump to hit enemies with spikes and on the ground. The Hammer also makes an apperance in the Mario and Luigi series. In these games Mario and Luigi use Jumps and their Hammers to attack enemies and use them in the very powerful and unique tag team moves called Bros. Attacks.
