The Newcomers [The Strangers 1-1] (Sonic and Mario)

A figure stood on the beach staring at the waving water. He was wearing an all Gray robe which covered his entire body and a hood which extended over his face. He seemed almost as if he was waiting for someone...

Sonic was walking through Spira looking for a Chaos Emerald he lost. As he was walking he saw a strange figure on the beach. I'm gettin bad vibes from this guy... He thought as he continued to walk hoping the figure wouldn't notice him. He looked down... Hey I found it! Soinc thought picking up the last Chaos Emerald.

The figure took a quick glance at Sonic and warped in front of him, "I need your help, Sonic the Hedgehog," The figure said as he stared at Sonic through unseen eyes.

Great... Sonic thought. Not something else.. Sonic looked at the stranger and said "What do you need?" Sonic said unenthusiastically.

The Stranger obviously picked up on Sonic's unapealed expression, "My Names SW," SW replied as he serched Sonic's face, "My three best friends have gone missing and they are the only ones I know who can stop this," SW added grimly as he continued, "There is a force who has the power to decrease selected individules' power and he can possess people as well... Some of my friends are already under his control,"

"So what do you need me to do?" Sonic said. Now suddenly more interested.

"Well my power has been drained significantlly," SW said as he look at one of his hands which was covered in a gray glove, "I need you to help me find the man who can stop this, his name is DB," SW added as a scared thought entered his mind, "Or I need you to defeat this force yourself"

"Lets take this guy head on!" Sonic said confidently, "I have the Chaos Emeralds with me!"

"As much as I admire your courage that would not be wise," SW replied as he frooze for a second, "Move!" SW said as he warped himself and Sonic a few yards away just before three zombies came out of the ground, "Padge..." SW whispered half to himself half outloud, He's under his control too... SW thought as a sword like weapon appeared in his hand as he readied himself for the zombies, "Sonic, watch yourself, you don't want to be grabbed by one these guys."

OOC: The turn order will be Sonic, SW, Zombies.

"Finally some action!" Sonic said eagerly as he plunged at Zombie 1 using Axe Kick dealing 60 damage.

SW ran at Zombie 2 and slashed it with his Sword dealing 25 damage. Zombie 1 punched Sonic dealing 20 damage. Zombies 2 and 3 both latched onto SW dealing 40 damage.

Sonic used Axe Kick on Zombie 1 dealing 60 damage, dispatching him. "These guys aren't so tough," Sonic boasted confidently.

The Zombies vanished in a instant, "Padge is here," SW said cautiously as he looked at a cliff and saw Padge. He jumped down a few yards in front of Sonic and SW. SW threw two potions in the air which restored him and Sonic to full health and SP.
Padge was silent, you couldn't see his face due to a heavy helmet. He was wearing full plate armor which covered his entire body, it was a shiny polished blue with a sword and shield that looked incredible. It was all hand crafted. It gives him 10 defense against all attacks.
"Watch out Sonic, this won't be easy..." SW said as he moved into his battle stance.

"Well his goons weren't so tough," Sonic said, "He can't be either!" Sonic ran at Padge and used Axe Kick on him dealing 50 damage for 70 SP. (Due to Padge's armor)

Padge slashed Sonic with his sword dealing 50 damage.
"Sonic watch out!" SW said as a beam of light engulfed him and when he reappeared he was wearing red robes with strands of gray through them and he pulled out a second sword. He then ran up to Padge and slashed him with his swords dealing a reduced 35 damage. He jumped back and limped when he landed, It shouldn't be straining me this much... SW thought as he was already breathing hard.

"Thanks!" Sonic said to SW as he used his Spindash on Padge dealing 30 damage. I need to conserve energy... He thought. This could be tougher than I thought.

Padge swung his sword in a horizontal motion which caused a beam to come out and hit both Sonic and SW dealing 40 damage to each of them.
SW used a combo on Padge dealing a reduced 50 damage.

Sonic ran at Padge and hit him with another Axe kick dealing 50 reduced damage and costing 70 SP. I may have to go all out here.. Sonic thought to himself.

Padge put SW in a magical seal and then did a large combo on SW dealing 80 damage.
SW returned back to his normal gray robes and shot a blast of fire which did a reduced 30 damage.

"The shadows call for the two of you next," Padge said ghostly as he vanished into the air.
SW stared in silent awe as he sat down, exausted from the battle. It's starting faster then I expected...

Sonic looked around hesitantly looking for Padge. "What was that guys deal?" Sonic asked SW. "The shadows call for us?" Sonic was pacing back in forth anxiously, "I didn't even get to go 'Super' on that guy!"

SW stared at the spot where Padge vanished for a while. He then broke out of his trance and returned his attention to Sonic, "We should leave, now," SW said as he opened a portal, "We can't stay here any longer," SW continued as he stood next to the portal.

"Why do we need to go?" Sonic said, "Is that Padge guy coming back?" He asked.

"Yes, and he'll bring more then just his zombies this time..." SW said grimly as he looked at the portal, "We need to leave now, their coming,"
