Chapter 1: This is speed!

Sonic The Hedgehog happily turned on the radio and flicked his sunglasses on. He LOVED listening to "Race To Win". He led down on a deckchair and stared at the lush, sea blue sky. "I always Race To Win..." He sang merrily. Just then he spotted Tails surfing on a gigantic wave. "Hey, Sonic!" Tails called as he did a 720. Just then Silver The Hedgehog was gaining on Tails with greater speed. "Catch up, Slow-mo!" Silver Laughed "I'm way too fast for you Sonic!" He teased. "Heh!" Sonic chuckled as he picked up his Lime/Orange Surf board "Let's see you try 'n beat me!" Sonic ran into the water with his board. He raced through an awesome wave! He was quickly catching up to Silver. "Get 'em Sonic!" Tails cheered. "Not That Fast!" Silver insisted as he once again gained more speed. "Easy!!" Sonic laughed as he zoomed up to the same speed as Silver. "GOOOO SONIC!!" Tails shouted at the top of his voice. "Noooooo!!" Silver yelled as he lost some speed. But Silver wouldn't give in! He dashed past Sonic once again. "Phew, your fast!" Sonic said surprised as he tried to catch up. "Sorry, No can do!" Silver said as he splashed Sonic so that he couldn't catch up that fast. "Here to help!" Tails said as he shortly caught up. But Tails quickly fell off his board and back onto the sand. "That was easy enough!" Silver giggled as he watched Tails accidentaly fall. "Woot!!" Sonic screamed as he raced past Silver at top speed. "Yes, Sonic!!" Tails cheered happily. "Gwaaahh!!!!" Silver screamed as he raced to the finish line at the same time as Sonic. "I declare that race ended in... A Tie!!" Tails explained. Sonic and Silver paddled back onto the sand. "You're good!" Sonic admitted. "Thanks!" Silver thanked merrily.

Just then the sky turned black and a black hedgehog stood next to Sonic as the sky turned back blue. "Nice Race!" Shadow said polishing his gun. "Back for fight?" Sonic asked. "For defineat!" Shadow said as he fired 10 bullets. "Too Slow!!" Sonic explained as he spinballed out of the way of the bullets. Just then a green character appeared suddenly. "Here to help Shadow!" Jet Squaked "Don't worry!" He explained "Knuckles is coming to help you Sonic!" Just then Knuckles skidded in. "Now," Knuckles started "Let's fight!" "I'll Take the first move!" Sonic insisted as he kicked Jet knocking him over. "Squuuak, MY TUUURN!!!!!" Jet shouted as he got up and blasted Sonic with MASSIVE power. "WOOOOAH!!!!!!!!!!!" Sonic shouted as he fell down. "Knocked ya out!" Jet laughed. "Replacement, right here!" Silver laughed as he headbutted Shadow powerfully. "Hmph, you got nothing!" Shadow said as he shot a speedy bullet right in Knuckles's direction. "Look out!" Silver said as he pushed Knuckles out of the way. Silver laughed happily.

Chapter 3: The Quest

"Thanks, Buddy!" Knuckles thanked as he shot a rock-solid uppercut at Jet. Jet screamed as Knuckles hit him in hi weak spot-His stomach! "knock out!" Knuckles laughed. "Taaaake...THIS!!!!!!" Shadow shouted as he blasted green and purple thunder at Silver. "Blast Back!" Silver said as he used a Psychic move to blast back the thunder as it knocked Shadow out. "WINNER!" Cried Tails as Jet, Shadow and Sonic recovered. "Nice Fight!" Sonic chanted happily. "I could've done better!" Shadow lied. "We'll win next time!" Jet squaked. "There is NO Next time!" Dr.Eggman chuckled as his latest machine carried Jet, Shadow and Knuckles away! "Not that fast Egg-Head!!" Sonic shouted as he tried to stop him. Sonic tried all sorts of attacks...Spindash, Super Speed, Mega Pulse and LOADS more! Finally he gave up and Eggman flew away! Just then a violet, Firey cat ran over to Sonic, Tails and Silver. "There you are Silver!" Said Blaze. "Jet, Knuckles, Shadow..." Silver said miserably "They're...gone" "I'll help!" Blaze said trying tp cheer her friends up. Just then Metal Sonic flew down. "Eggman forgot you!" Metal Sonic beeped as he snatched Silver and took him away. "That's what i'm talkin' 'bout!" Sonic said "He's kidnapping everyone!!" "Oh my..." Blaze said sadly "We gotta save 'em!!" Blaze said trying to encourage Sonic & Tails. "She's right!" Tails agreed. "I'm in!" Sonic agreed. "First destination?" Blaze asked. "Eggman's lair!" Sonic said as if he was defineat. "Where EXACTLY is that?" Tails questioned. "I dunno," Shouted Sonic as he zoomed into the distance "But we just gotta follow where ever our minds take us!" "Hold on!" Tails said he started to fly. Blaze hung onto Tails's shoes. "That's more like it!" Blaze smiled kindly.
