"Oh! Sorry, Miss, I didn't mean any disrespect. I'm just saying, I think you have me confused with someone I'm not. I don't know who this Wiley guy you keep talking about is, but when you say Sigma," X clenches his fist with a somber look on his face ",that's when I'm ready to fight," gives a sideways glance to the strange creature that seems to be from this world.

"And, it's not that we don't trust you, we're just being cautious, we are kinda far from our homeworld. Which has me curious, you are a fine reploid, and seem to have some knowledge of our past. How did you come to be in a place like this?" X looked into the female's eyes hoping that this time he would get some straight answers.

Horizon smiled and nodded. "I think i can understand your desire to find the truth about me... Though i could say i am as much a reploid as you and Zero there are." she walked closer to X with a smile. "I come from the time before the cataclysm just like you and Zero. I was build with aspirations and dezides to match and surpass The Great Dr. Wiley's And Dr. Light's work... Though Dr. Light Will Be the Greater of the two more often where as Wiley sought to control the world By Creating Destroyers, and monsters, and viruses. Light Created only Proto Man, Rock, Roll, Rush, and Beat. as well as that adorable flip-top Eddie i think he was called. The Robots Made By Dr. Light have always been the saviors and triumphant bots. Any self respecting bot would adore one as so accomplished and distinguished as a light bot." she nodded and smiled more enderingly to X folding her hands infrong of herself in her now too familiar maidlike pose. "I Was friends with Rock because he was a Light bot. Its why I Call Rock Rock. He was a blue bot, with a blaster on his arm and a blue helmet, looking like a turquoise superhero. If you aren't the bot i considered my brother. Then you are almost a dead ringer for him... If a little taller. Though I got taller when I built up my form with upgraded parts." She smiled again and stood a little back from X and Zero closing her eyes. "as to how i got here, same as you two. I teleported, straight from Reploid City. I wanted a Sunlit beach on an island. Because i am a hopless Romantic."

Zero nodded slowly, agreeing with her story. His pointer and thumb of his left hand enveloped his chin as he mulled the rest of the story over, again agreeing with it. "I would say that information is sound, from what I have been told about the time before the reploids, that sounds about right." The successor to Dr. Light, a Dr. Cain, was the one who had awoken both he and X. X was properly woken from his capsule, while he... Zero clenched his fists, remembering the moment he was reawakened from being Maverick. ...was repaired by Cain, by implementing a Suffering Circuit into his body. "It seems for now, we will have to trust you. We are all in the same predicament and need to find a way home. First task is to find that energy source."

X put a reassuring hand on the purple haired bot "Well, you seem to have a good spirit as far as I can tell. If you are a friend of Dr. Light then you are a friend of mine. This Rock fellow of yours sounds like one great reploid and I hope that maybe, if you could overlook me being short with you before, I could be as good a friend to you as Rock. But, you have to call me X from now on, because that's my name." He gave a nod towards Zero, the one he had come here to find, just then a smile brightened his face. He returned his gaze to female and the smile softened, it seems they have picked up another for their journey. "I think if you are confident that you can warp us to the energy signature without getting us lost, then I guess we can give it a try." He was a little nervous about it, but he was ready to put his faith in this Friend of Light.

Horizon smiles broadly as she puts her hand on X's wrist. Not moving to remove his hand from her more glad that he put it there. "Well RockX, I can set your own teleporters within a hundred yards of the energy signature.
Then with the coordinates i set... you can Warp derectly there on your own power." she stood back with a smile and nodded ready to get to work. as she started to connect X and Zero to her teleport module. She already knew it wouldn't be instant.

X turned to Zero and put a hand on him and smiled "Think you're ready Zero?" he put his hand on him not just for reassurance but also he had missed the contact of his best friend. He wanted to make sure that he didn't go beyond his reach, as if by holding onto him now the teleportation wouldn't be able to pull them apart. He knew this wasn't how teleportation worked, but the desire to be touching Zero didn't go away.

Zero nodded and smiled at his close friend, placing a hand on the metallic gauntlet of X's arm. "Always am, X." He squeezes the metal arm part, reassuring X that they would not be removed from each other any time soon. The red Hunter had missed his partner. The years since the last attack from Mavericks and now had been lonely and unrewarding, even if he still was doing work for the Maverick Hunters. "So, 'Navigator', let's get this show on the road." He turned to the purple haired female reploid as he spoke, releasing X's arm from his grip.

Horizon nodded slowly with a chuckle, lowering her head as she set the teleporters. Not paying much attention as she set of all three warp systems at once, She was sure that it was set right, this wouldn't be hard really. now she only had to wait for the system's to take over.

X felt a flash of worry as the 'navigator' set their coordinates, he wasn't complete sure of her abilities although he just put full faith into them. The flash of worry didn't last long since the flash of their warp systems had just activated. The three reploids forms turned to light, primarily white with their primary colors mixed in around the edges, blue, red, and purple. The light then folded horizontally creating a vertical cylinder of light that shot straight up.

As the coordinates were followed the three pillars of light came down one on top of the other the bodies reforming merely milliseconds apart. I slight difference in processing speed luckily allowed for the teleportation to not happen entirely simultaneously, that could have spelled disaster since they all had the exact same coordinates.

Each landing in the same location, Zero had landed gracefully, being the first to arrive, but his cool serenity was quickly broken as X teleported straight on top of him. The Jumble and confusion could not have sorted out before the third reploid came crashing down on X and Zero, creating a mess of reploid body parts sticking every which way of the pile.

Zero opened his eyes after they had been slammed shut from the sudden impact of X and Horizon landing on top of him. "Great job, 'Navigator'. Ever heard of offset?" He gritted his teeth and pulled himself and X out of the pile, rising to his feet and pulling X up as well. He sighed, pulling the female reploid up as well. The red Hunter looked around, observing the new area. It was a little less populated and no beach in sight. "So, 'Navigator', where is this energy source?"

Horizon shook her head and sighed quietly inward as she was manhandled and scolded for a rookie mistake. "Remember... i have only ever set my own... thank you very much. she looked around first at herself then anything else and sighed to herself as she looked at the small town a bit away from the actual islands and then pointed off down the road. "its about a hundred yards that way... and this is strange... Its 50 feet "up" from our position... so its more like...." she angled her hand to point at the top of a taller building, then sighed. "On top of the building...."

"Well, we might as well start moving, I've always enjoyed short walk to my destination. And don't worry about getting us right to the location of the energy signature, I don't think the navigators back home have gotten any better at that." Giving a pat on the female's shoulder he then turned to Zero with a smile "Wanna race?" X rushed towards the building that had the bike's energy signature.

Zero chuckled at the younger Hunter before smirking and quickly chasing after him. "You're on X!" The red warrior ran forward, close behind his partner, keeping an eye on him. As Zero turned his head back towards his forward movement a large rock formation was quickly approaching his path. On his next stride, Zero knelt and activated his jets and kicking off the ground. His hair followed him quickly through the hair, the golden spire falling as he did over the obstruction, the strands glow in the sunlight. "You may have had the head start, but you won't win X!" He laughed as he neared his friend.

X knew if he had any chance of winning against Zero was that he needed to keep his lead, since the both of them had comparable systems. They had landed on a sort of a small hill. Using the height to his advantage X tilted forward with a whoosh coming from his boots as he accelerated forward. As his boosters where about to end their burn, X kicked off the ground sending him into the air with his continued inertia allowing him to flow through the air faster then if he normally jumped. This combined with the dropping hill, X was able to cover a great distance putting him 40-50 yrds ahead of Zero. Knowing that this would probably not be enough, since Zero could perform the same move, X made sure to activate his dash thrusters again when he landed, which have fortunately recharged by the time he had landed.

she watched the two bots as they raced... she thought she could keep up, but why bother... she already knew the short cut that she had learned from an old friend of rocks... and had even seen the ex maveric use a few times... she walked after them a little way and then as they were out pacing her she teleported a second time... right to the top of the building with a smirk so she could check out the energy signature. This of cource was a mistake and caused her to let loose a scream loud enough to stop the race in its tracks... that is if the person holding the bike on top of the building had not released creatures... however they were definatly not creatures that were native to their home world... they were heartless, and she was helpless knowing that X and Zero would have to fight their way to her.

ooc: im not good at balanced enemies... so i am leaving the details of how many or how strong in the air right now.

The red Hunter cursed activating his jets, speeding up to his partner. The race had become as rescue attempt. "No time for games, X! Let's pick up the pace!" Zero ran along side his friend, looking towards where Horizon had appeared, and spots of darkness had begun forming. As he and the blue Hunter ran forward, the spots of darkness from the town rose from the ground. The creatures seemed empty, like the very void of space. Zero lept over the three forms that swelled from the ground, creating a crossfire with X. "X, let's take care of these things quickly, we need to get to the other reploid!"

X had been in the middle of his dash as the dark bodies appeared. It seemed that he fond himself in front of the bigger one. A little caught off guard by the sudden development and was a little baffled by Zero jumping to the other side. X raised his cannon but he didn't want to miss and hit his friend so instead he started charging the power in his buster. "Zero, watch out!" he called out frantically not sure if he should shoot or not.

Horizon palled at the sight of the inky creatures, It took her a moment from them coming up to collect herself. She figured she would regret screaming as she pulled her sword and stood her ground swinging at the weaker of her two foes so as to dispatch him quickly. She watched the other however, she didn't figure she would have an easy time of it.

Heartless Minor 2: 10 damage, Dead!

The heartless turned, facing towards the blue reploid, their dark yellow eyes devoid of emotion as they crept forward, seemly draw in by the building of energy inside X's buster. Zero lept in the air, aiming his blaster at one of the smaller creatures, discharging a blast with a high pitched whir from his buster. "X! Just shoot!" The larger Heartless lumbered on its stubby legs towards X, taking a swipe, coming up short. In the distance a rip of metal could be heard as a Heartless ripped into the body of the female reploid.

He gritted his teeth as he rolled in the air, head down towards another of the smaller heartless, drawing his sword as he neared the ground. He he neared the dark being, he swung his saber, slicing through the heartless and into the ground. He stepped back, drawing his sword from the dissipating body as the ground once again leaked living void. "We've got more of them, X!"

Around the energy source, more heartless formed as they did outside the town, the populace now in panic as they looked towards the sky in horror. Above the buildings, high in the sky, darkness grew until it manifested, a large black orb, chains hanging from it as it smiled menacingly down on the town as it started to slowly descend.

Horizon cries out again as she gets hit... this isn't so much a shriek as it is involuntary, turning her sword on the larger of the two that was there she swung, getting ready to charge her sword as she then saw -MORE- of the heartless come out of nowhere. she gritted her teeth and changed her attack on to one of the smaller heartless, talking without realizing it over her comms channel to both X and Zero. "Where do they keep coming from?" and seeing the big nasty descending on the town she falters... her blade having just buried in the small shadow. as she screamed out again... This time in dire fear.

Finding it difficult from the positioning and the sudden surprise of the otherworldly creatures coming from nowhere. Seeing that more were spawning forth from the inkiness X started formulate a plan. X coming out of his startlement ran between the shadows and jumped over the larger heartless. Being careful not to get hit X ran beside Zero "You go on ahead to help the other reploid, I have an idea." X continued to run a little ways away from the heartless as his arm cannon started to glow from the accumulating power.
