History: Mario first discovered the Fire Flower in his first starring role: Super Mario Bros. It was used mainly as a way to defeat Bowser without having to jump over him to reach the axe. Things have advanced in the past couple of decades and the Fire Flower now often takes on a much different and powerful role. The Fire Flower often is Mario's form of choice when battling sturdy enemies that won't go down. This form is also a very great option when faced up with an opponent who is on par, or stronger then himself because with this, he can gain the edge in the strength departement and tilt the scale in his favor for a hard battle. This form is also great against enemies that are ice related and have weakness to fire. The Fire Flower is Mario's classic form and one that I enjoy very, very much.
