Thendo's Key

I believe you will enjoy this book. I started the plot recently. This Story is called Thendo's Key.

Prologue

He walked the cold and icy steps to the hall. This hall has a door at the end. He opened the door and his mind was not amused.There was nothing in the room. His lips curled into a smile, as he walked through the wall in the room, entering another room. This room had a item, on the perch of a cupboard. He grabbed the item, and he walked into the cupboard.Before he walked in, he had a feeling something was watching him. He was in a room with voices and screams, while he saw flashes of his family members dieing. He heard about 17 screams at once, and he wasn't one of the screaming.His smile, however had faded into a normal, but serious look. He just walked into a giant box and disappeared while it was showing his grandpa having a heart attack.He saw a black shadow of a beast, which looked like it was following him. When he looked again he saw no shadow at all.He was in a room that was very blurry. He thought he heard a faint growling from a corner. Before he could investigate, he disappeared. Then, he was in those halls again. He jumped over the ragged carpet and disappeared.He was in the room. It was powerful. He could sense somthing lurking in the shadows through his timid eyes. He quickly tried to leave, but he quickly glanced at a weird object. When he went to go look up close it was gone. He walked through a door and disappeared into thin air, as he suddenly heard a cackle in the mist. At first he thought he was just hearing things wrong, and nothing made a sound. 5 minutes later, I don't know if he would think that any more. 5 minutes later he thought he saw a man and beast. Finally, He appeared in that empty room, and before he opened up the door, a chill ran down him. He opened the door and instead of the perspective halls, he saw it. The beast. He then met death, as he was raised into the heavens. His last word was "It's dead". Then he was completly cut from the world. He was the 2nd last of the family. He had his wife. Oh, and a boy...named Thendo.

Chapter 1

Thendo was awoke to a slight sound. It sounded like a pin that had hit the floor. Thendo just had the weirdest dream. There was a man with glasses, green glasses. They were shining across a puddle in the metro. He passed a corner and came to the street 32 wentlin lane. He went down the lane and went into a graveyard. It was full of graves, shovels, and plants left for the dead bodies. That man went to a Grave. It said: In memory of- then the dream cut out and Thendo always woke up. This has been happening for quite a while now. He guessed it had been happening for about 4 or 5 monthes or so. All this reminded him of his dad.Right now he was looking at the picture of his dad, who had gone missing when Thendo was 3. His Dad said he had to do a Top Seacret project one night, and he left and never came back. 12 year old Thendo Kies lived with his mom from then on, and still does. So anyway, Thendo got up. He got dressed and went to the door. He found out it was strangely locked. He tried again. Locked. Suddenly, he saw it. Shattered glass. That was what probably woke him up! But what was glass doing in his room? He didn't have any glass in his room. When he was in his room,there was a blue bed,a few cupboards,books,pictures,a desk with pencils, and a fan on the ceiling. No glass at all. A shiver went down his back. Then, he froze, his eyes with terror. The glass formed the word, "Hello".

Chapter 2:

Thendo, as suprised as he was when he saw the word "hello" in the glass on the floor, went into the bathroom to brush his teeth. His bathroom was rather small too, for this room only had a toilet, a toothbrushe, and a sink. The shower was in his mom's bathroom, since they could only get 1 shower. Anyway, Thendo brushed his teeth and went downstairs. When he reached the last step, he remembered that he should pick up all the glass that was on his floor. He quickly ran up the stairs and went to his room. When he got there, the glass was gone. It was strange. Then, he went back downstairs and went to the kitchen, where his mom was most of time, but it was early, for she was still showering. " Well, guess I better start eating breakfast" Thendo thought as he went to the kitchen cupboard to look for food. There was all microwave food in there, and most of it was pretty bad, and tasted, well, this might be long, but here I go: It tasted like the most disgusting things that you can ever think of, plus the most disgusting thing I can think of, which is really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, well, you get the point. It is that bad. Well, back to the story. Since Thendo's day was so boring, I won't describe it. I'll just say 5 words to sum it up:

Math
Bullys
Teachers
Now, after school, Thendo went home, got out his homework, and went up to his room to do it. When he got home, he saw something very unusual. On the floor, he saw a dusty, small, black key.
