After buying a salt mine in Michigan, he used it to perform his science experiments in. soon Appaerture started to take a turn for the worst. Cave saw his company failing because of its employees and faked his own death. he now waits in the depths of apperture behind a series ofd the hardest tests he could create that only the smartest of all the test subjects could solve.
