What does it do: A cursed sword capable of killing demons and absorbing their souls

History: For years Akujiki has been guarded by the Oboro Clan, sworn never to be wielded unless in the most dire of situations. Every few years, the sword chooses the next ruler of the Oboro Clan. This time, it was Hotsuma and his older brother Moritsune. Hotsuma defeated his brother, at the same time awakening the sword's insatiable blood lust. Now only Hotsuma is able to wield the sword, though at the cost of his life being slowly drained. The only temporary solution is to kill the servants of Hiruko, the Hellspawn, and feed their souls to the sword.
