5th Skill, Ability, and/or Weapon: Truth Revealed (Ed uses alchemy to break the Blood Seal on Al's body, restoring him to his human body. All of Al's attacks do an additional 5 damage. Can only be used once and only when Al's health is lower than 10. Remains this way for remainder of battle)
History with your Amigo: Though he’s three years younger than his brother, the Fullmetal Alchemist, Alphonse doesn’t exactly look it. His soul resides inside a towering suit of armor, sealed there after his physical body was destroyed in the Elric brothers’ doomed attempt to bring their mother back to life. He may be three years behind his older sibling, but he’s also about three feet above him.
Al has a calm and gentle demeanor, in contrast to Ed’s violent temper, and usually prefers to follow his brother’s lead instead of taking charge himself. Nevertheless, he’s a capable alchemist in his own right, although he doesn’t have Edward’s ability to work without a transmutation circle.
Behind the brave front he always tries to keep up, Alphonse harbors some lingering insecurities about his identity. With his body evaporated into the alchemical ether, exactly what’s left that makes him human? Is there any proof that the real Alphonse Elric ever existed, or is he a creation of alchemy entirely? For the most part, though, he’s able to keep his metaphorical head on his shoulders, and his support is enough to keep Edward on track through the rougher patches of their quest to get both of their bodies back.
