Luigi walks down the streets of Flipside. "Maaarioooo?" He said, stopping and standing on his toes. "Mario! Where are you, Mariooo?"

Sonic came running through Flipside, Aw.... Not the 2-D place again! Sonic thought. As he was running he saw two figures in the distance, one red, one green, Hey it's Mario and Luigi! Sonic thought. "Mario!" Sonic shouted, "Luigi! Over here!" Sonic said as he was now almost to the two of them.

Luigi turned to Mario and Sonic. "Hi! I was just wondering, Mario. Have you seen a little green boo?" Luigi asked. "He's part of my team and I can't find him anywhere, his name is Booland."

"I thought I saw a Boo a little earlier." Mario said as he scratched his head. "But I'm not sure... I'd like to help you though."

Luig sighed and looked around a little more. "Booooooolaaaaand? Where are you?? He always runs off to look for his friend, Duepla, he's also part of my team, a dooplaghost. He copies people and Duepla is always turning into random people and getting lost, so Booland always looks for him."

Luigi looked around. "Me? Nyeah, no! I-I'm Luigi!" He said turning around. "What the..." Luigi leaned down and saw a tiny shy guy. "Hey...it's one of those toy shy guys from Shy Guy's Toybox...Okay, Duepla you can transform back into you're dooplaghost form now." "Nyeah-hehehe..." Suddenly, Duepla appeared out of nowhere.

Duepla looked over to Sonic and nodded. "Eh, Duepla doesn't talk much. Hey, Duepla, have you seen Booland anywhere?" Duepla nodded and jumped in the air. "Alright then, let's go find him!"

Duepla re-joined Luigi's party!

Luigi looked over to Mario and Sonic. "Keep your eyes out for 'im. I'm going to follow Duepla and see if he is still there." Luigi said as Duepla and him walked towards the item shop in Flipside.

"Alright, then Sonic and I will serch the other side of town." Mario said as he and Sonic started walking through town. "So where should we serch first?"

Sonic came back perplexed, "I searched everywhere, I can't find him......" Sonic said, "We should go find Luigi"

Luigi and Duepla stand in the shop, Duepla transforms into Booland. "Hey, merchant, have you seen this ghost? This is a Dooplighost in it's forms."

IC: "Yes... I saw him about twenty minutes ago," The merchant said, "He bought something from me.... But I can't remember what..."

Suddenly Jet walked in the store."Yo,merchant,can i have this?" Jet asked pointing at a strange crystal he found on the shelf.He then glared at Sonic and Mr.L."Hey Sonic,do you know why this place is 2-d?" He asked.

"Yo,the crystal is 300 rings" the merchant said. Jet was surprised the merchant knew what rings were,but he took the rings he needed from a compartment in his board.

Luigi turned to Jet. "Well, kind of. I'm Mario's brother and Sonic and Mario are friends, so I guess that automaticaly makes me his friend." Luigi said with a grin. "And yes, thank you sir. Well, we'll be going now." Luigi said, Duepla and Luigi walking out.
