Then Doopliss left Mario as a shadow before getting knocked out leaving Mario on the ground instead, taking his place! "Yeah! C'ya around, slick!" said Doopliss as he also tricked Shadow into thinking he was Mario. "Mario, why were you all hyper and stuff?" asked Shadow as they walked away. Moments later, Mario got up.

OOC: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Mario slowly got up and looked around, nobody was in the room with him, What happened? Mario then looked at his hand and realized that he was somehow turned into a shadow. Mario then started to search around.

OCC: Yup.
IC: Then the Elite Duplighost appeared. "You're Mario, right?" he said. "You see, not too long ago, you were fighting Doopliss, right? Well, I never knew he was against Shadow! If I would've known a long time ago, I would've fled from this island a long time ago! So, can I, maybe go with you to get Shadow back? By the way, I'm Duplie! And the reason I know who you are, is because Doopliss keeps on calling you slick."

"He would most likely go back to where he defeated you without you knowing!" said Duplie as 3 Dark Boos appeared! "Watch this!" he said as he charged Mario's attack power by 30, subtracting his HP by 15!

Then Dark Boo 2 made himself invisible for this turn! And Dark Boo Boss used Defend Order to raise his defence by 40 for 3 turns!

OOC: Hey Shadow, why do you always make these hard topics but you never be your actual character? You always knock him out at the begginning or get him out of the fight somehow.

IC: Duplie then transformed into Dark Boo Boss and used Poison Lick on Dark Boo 2, dealing 50 damage and poisoning him! For 10 turns, poison will do 2 damage! Dark Boo 2 then used Defend Order to raise his Defence by 20! Dark Boo then used Attack Order on Duplie, dealing 35 damage!

"Yeah. Here, let me use some of my powers to heal you and I." said Duplie as he healed Mario, and himself to full HP and SP. And then, Doopliss appeared. "WHAT!? Duplie? What're you doing with that-a slick?" asked Doopliss to Duplie. "He's NOT called slick, freak-in-a-sheet! I'm with Mario, and we're gonna take you down!" said Duplie. "Hmph. You only have yourself to blame if you run away. Come on Mario, let's show these fakers who's boss!" said Shadow. "Very good, my foolish...er, I mean, Shadow." said Doopliss.

"Let's go Duplie!" Mario said as he used Fire Orb on Doopliss dealing 60 damage and costing 70SP.

"Yeah!" said Duplie as he transformed into Shadow and used Chaos Spear on Doopliss dealing 15 damage. Doopliss used Ghostly Headbutt on Duplie, dealing 90 damage! Shadow then used his Gun on Duplie dealing 10 damage. "Urgh...I'm...feeling faint..." said Duplie weakly. "Hmph. Not so high and mighty now anymore, are we?" said Shadow.

"Duplie!" Mario yelled as he threw him a Mushroom that healed 60 of his HP and drained 80 of Mario's.

"Th-thanks, M-Mario..." said Duplie as he changed back from Shadow, then transformed into Mario, and used Fire Orb on Doopliss dealing 60 damage. Doopliss then Jumped on Duplie, dealing 50 damage. Shadow then used his gun on Duplie dealing 10 damage, getting Duplie back to 20 HP.

Then the battle ended. Doopliss turned back into Doopliss, and Mario got his name and body back. "Huh!? I was following this guy the whole time? .....I don't believe it!" said Shadow. Then the 2nd Crystal Star and the 2nd Chaos Emerald appeared. "Well then, I will be going now. After a day for confusion." said Shadow. "Know what? I think I'll stay a little longer with you, Mario. Since Shadow's with you and all." said Duplie.
And so, peace has returned on Angel Island again. Mario is truly Mario again. Doopliss is Doopliss again. And Shadow is now confused! Duplie, the Elite Duplighost has also now joined the crew too! But there are still more enemies waiting to get the chance to destroy Mario & friends.
