Chapter 4: The Plains Are Shocked!

"More like rivals...." said Shadow. "Close enough, I guess. Let's-" began Shadow as Lightning from a Sumo Brother came down. ".....I'm not touching that spot in the field....."

The lightning landed right on Mario and only gave Sonic and Shadow a slight shock. Mairo instantly collapsed and barely caught himself by putting his hands out, "Aaaagghhh!" Mario yelled as he almost fell unconcious, I can't move... Mario thought as he was barely able to get to his feet.

Hmm....if this was just me, I could heal up by calling Rouge....but Rouge only heals me up....thought Shadow as he tried to think more. "Aha! I've got it! Somewhere in the Sumo Tower over there has a machine, powered by an Ultra Shroom to absorb it's healing energy for lightning energy! If we got that Ultra Shroom, Mario would be healed!" said Shadow as he started to run to Sumo Tower. MARIA, I know you wanted me to help others. So I'm doing this to fufill your wish! said Shadow to himself.

So Shadow started to run inside the Sumo Tower, and ran into 4 Sumo Brothers! Shadow used Chaos Blast (which I really need to increase it's attack power more) on all dealing 15 damage.

"Not more enemies!" Sonic said as he put down Mario and used his Spindash on Sumo Brother 1 dealing 70 damage and killing him.

Mario weakly got up and threw his Hammer at the second Sumo Brother dealing just enough to kill it. He then collapsed on the ground right after.

Sumo Brother 3 used Stun Lightning on Shadow, making him unable to move for 2 turns! "Aaauuuggghhh! I...can't...move." said Shadow weakly. Sumo Brother 4 used Zap Throw on Sonic, dealing 15 from the shock, and 20 more from hitting the sharp rocks behind!

Great.... First Mario and now Shadows paralyzed... Sonic thought grimly as he attacked Sumo Brother 3 with a Spindash killing him.

What's he doing? Sonic thought to himself as he stared down Sumo Brother 4. Sonic hesitated before attacking. Agh... What the heck! Sonic thought as he decided to attack and used Spindash on Sumo Brother 4 killing him.

"Yeah. I wonder how Mario's doin' though." said Shadow as he started to run.

"Wait...an Ultra Shroom can't be used for electricity! A Chaos Emerald can, though! So we go through Sumo Tower!" said Shadow speeding up to 691MPH.

"Yeah, I guess since we're already here." said Shadow, just thinking of a way to get in there!

"No...it used to be the way in, but the lightning machine is through that hole." said Shadow. "Hey...a crack! But the crack is too strong for my Chaos Spear. Do you know anyone who maybe has bombs, or at least SELL bombs?"
